One thing of interest in these photos is of course the huge largemouth bass. Fish this size are not commonly caught in the St. Johns today. Another interesting feature is the fancy suits and attire worn by the fishermen and boat staff. You don't often see men in fitted formal wear posing with largemouth. These men were the high end clients of Captain Noah's river charter. Some projects have been discussed to restore it, but its future and current whereabouts are unverified. What's left of it was docked at a Palatka riverfront marina and last seen there around 2007. This older 2004 article from staugustine.com has more of the rare historical details about Noah's Arc.

Title: The Ark will sail again

The Ark is and has been dry docked next to the Boathouse Marina in Palatka on the St. Johns. As of 2015 plans are moving forward on renovating this historic vessel at its home port of Palatka.
